Greenford’s Local Cars Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Greenford’s Local Cars ("we," "us," or "our") regarding the provision of our minicab and airport transfer services. By booking a ride with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • 1.1 Greenford’s Local Cars (us/we):

    The company providing minicab and airport transfer services.

  • 1.2 You/Your:

    The individual, business, or organization making a booking with us.

2. Booking

  • 2.1 Journey Time:

    It is your responsibility to allocate sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers where check-in times are critical. We are not liable for any delays caused by insufficient time allocation or unpreparedness at the pickup point.

  • 2.2 Vehicle Selection:

    Choose a vehicle size that can comfortably accommodate all passengers and their luggage. We cannot guarantee transportation of excess luggage. Each child, regardless of age, counts as one passenger.

  • 2.3 Special Requirements:

    Please inform us at the time of booking if you require wheelchair access or have other specific needs.

3. Prices & Payment

  • 3.1 Quotes:

    Prices quoted are based on the information provided by you and exclude VAT unless specified. We reserve the right to adjust quotes if there are significant changes to the itinerary.

  • 3.2 Waiting Time:

    Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period at airports and parking charges. Additional waiting time will incur our standard waiting time fees. While we strive to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

  • 3.3 Booking Confirmation:

    Once a quote is accepted, we will send a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to check the details and notify us of any discrepancies immediately to avoid potential delays or additional costs.

  • 3.4 Payment Methods:

    We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards for payment.

4. The Service

  • 4.1 Passenger Conduct:

    You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers in the vehicle. We may charge for any cleaning required due to soiling or damage caused by passengers.

  • 4.2 Prohibited Activities:

    Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.

  • 4.3 Child Safety:

    All children must be secured in appropriate child restraints according to their age, weight, and height.

  • 4.4 Passenger Limits:

    We cannot exceed the maximum number of passengers allowed by law and insurance regulations.

5. Cancellations

  • 5.1 Cancellation Policy:

    If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us immediately. Cancellations made after the vehicle has been dispatched may incur a charge based on the distance traveled by the driver to the pickup location.

  • 5.2 Online Booking Cancellations:

    Cancellations made through our online system before the vehicle is dispatched may be subject to a fee charged to the original payment method.

6. Liability

  • 6.1 Unforeseen Delays:

    While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for any losses caused by delays beyond our control. We accept no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business due to such delays.

  • 6.2 Luggage:

    All luggage is carried at your own risk.

  • 6.3 Vehicle Breakdown:

    In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle as quickly as possible to complete your journey.

7. Termination

  • 7.1 Right to Terminate:

    We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking with immediate effect if a passenger's behavior (including abuse, violence, or damage) endangers the driver or vehicle. No refunds will be issued for journeys terminated due to inappropriate behavior.

8. Miscellaneous

  • 8.1 Subcontracting:

    We may subcontract our obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under this agreement without our prior written consent.

  • 8.2 Changes to Terms:

    We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Please review these Terms regularly. Existing bookings will be subject to the Terms in effect at the time of booking.

  • 8.3 Data Protection:

    We handle your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998 and any subsequent legislation.

9. Disputes

Any disputes or claims related to these Terms or the services provided by Greenford’s Local Cars must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the pickup date. We are not obligated to consider claims or disputes received after this period.
